Social Events

The Local Organizing Committee has prepared an interesting programme of social events to give the participants opportunity to spend more informal moments together as well as to get acquainted with the rich history of Poland. Bookings for the social events can be made ON-LINE or dowloading the SOCIAL EVENTS REGISTRATION FORM (pdf file) and returning it by regular mail, fax or as an attachment to the e-mail to the First Class Travel Agency (payments with a credit card or by a bank transfer). Bank accounts are the same as for the registration fee.

Description:

Municipal reception will be held in Wilanow Palace. Bus leaves from the conference centre at 18:00.

Żelazowa Wola (bus tour with English speaking guide 9:00 - 14:00)


Description:

Visit a charming old Polish manor, the birthplace of Frederic Chopin in Żelazowa Wola nearby (60 km) of Warsaw. All the rooms have been restored to period perfection and house a collection of mementoes of the Chopin family. Enjoy a piano recital of Frederic Chopin music. Go for a walk in a beautiful park surrounding the manor.

Cracow - Wieliczka - Full day tour


Description:

Cracow, Poland's former capital between XI and XVI century, is a special city with approximately 3000 historical buildings from various periods. Sightseeing includes the Old Town area, the Wawel Castle and the Jewish district of Kazimierz - they all are on the UNESCO list of the World Cultural Heritage. Cracow is also an excellent starting point for visits to other interesting places like the underground wonder of the world - Wieliczka Salt Mine (also on the UNESCO list).

Upon receipt of the payment each participant will receive a final confirmation of the social event with an invoice.

Cancellation:

Notice on cancellation should be sent to the First Class Travel Agency in writing. The following cancellation fees will be deducted before refunding:

- Cancellation up to April 25, 2008: 30 EUR handling fee for social event.
- Cancellation after April 25, 2008: no refunds can be made.
